Investors

(Thank you, but right now Molten-Labs is not taking investment).

Molten-Labs have a few keys classes of people, including management, the board / investors, employees, contractors, joint venture companies / collaborators and even competitors.  Our philosophy on this subject is to grow the business in the long term, not for short term benefit or for an "exit" strategy for either the investor or management.

As Molten-Labs grows, we have to choose our investors carefully, and they have to be conscious of the culture that we are trying to grow.  Molten has a strong governing Philosophy and Constitution, and that holds true for the board and investors as it does for employees and contracts.

Molten-Labs is a long-term investment, and as such, do not want investors who might want to "pump and dump" or for whom are looking for short-term profits over long-term principles.  Those terms would need to be agreed well in advance of any investment or position on the board, and would be a legally binding requirement for both investment and decision making.

In general, for all people we are involved with, we believe that "A-type people hire A-type people, but B-type people hire B, C and even D type people".  We want to work with extraordinary individuals, which is one of the reasons that we take permanent hiring of employees so carefully.  We would take the same "due diligence" with accepting on an investor or board member, with the caveat "a dollar of investment means a dollar of control".  We wish to be very, very careful about the company culture, and that culture starts at the top.
